Ingredients to make Steamed Chicken with Date palm Jaggery & Green Chillies

  • 1 BONELESS chicken BREAST, CUT INTO 3 THIN SLICES
  • 1 TBSP tamarind PULP
  • 5 TBSP DATE palm jaggery
  • 3 TBSP GREEN chilli PASTE
  • HUNG curd 5 TBSP
  • FRESH cream 2 TBSP
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 5 TBSP oil

How to make Steamed Chicken with Date palm Jaggery & Green Chillies

  1. MARINATE THE CHICKEN PIECES WITH HUNG CURD, FRESH CREAM, SALT, GREEN CHILLI PASTE AND KEEP IT ASIDE FOR 1 HOUR.
  2. BOIL THE TAMARIND PASTE WITH A LITTLE WATER IN A PAN UNTIL IT REDUCES. NOW ADD THE JAGGERY INTO IT.
  3. POUR THIS MIXTURE INTO THE MARINATION. ALSO ADD THE OIL AND MIX IT WELL.
  4. TAKE 3 BANANA LEAF PIECES AND PARCEL THE CHICKEN PIECES INTO IT.
  5. STEAM IT IN A STEAMER FOR 30 MINS.
  6. SERVE IT HOT.
