Delicious gulab jamun made with bananas, a different yet very tasty desert for all occasions.

Ripe Banana Jamun

Ingredients to make Ripe Banana Jamun

  • Ripe banana - 2
  • maida - 3/4 cup
  • Powdered sugar - 1/2 cup
  • cardamom powder - 1/2 tsp
  • sugar - 2 cup
  • water - 1 cup
  • ghee/Oil for frying

How to make Ripe Banana Jamun

  1. Mash Banana nicely.
  2. Add maida and powdered sugar to banana and knead a nice soft dough.
  3. Make medium size balls from the dough.
  4. Fry slowly in hot Ghee /Oil. Take out when turns golden brown.
  5. Keep it aside.
  6. Add water and sugar in a pan.
  7. Boil this till you get 1 string consistency.
  8. Switch off the flame.
  9. Add cardamom powder to the syrup.
  10. Add fried balls to it and let it soak for 20-30 mins
  11. Healthy version of gulab jamun - Banana jamun is ready.
