These Sweet Potato biscuits are really delightful.

Sweet Potato Biscuits

Ingredients to make Sweet Potato Biscuits

  • Well cooked and mashed sweet potatoes 1 cup
  • Milk 1/3 cup
  • Whole wheat flour 1 and 1/2 cups
  • Brown sugar 2 table spoons
  • Baking powder 2 table spoons
  • Un salted butter 1/3 cup
  • salt a pinch
  • Coco chips 2 table spoons

How to make Sweet Potato Biscuits

  1. Add 3 table spoons of milk to mashed sweet potatoes and whisk well.
  2. In a broad large bowl put wheat flour, brown sugar, butter, baking powder, salt, and whisk well.
  3. Now transfer the sweet potato mix to the bowl and fold gently. Check the consistency and add the remaining milk to bring in to right dough consistency.
  4. Add the choco chips and mix gently.
  5. Dust your palm with some wheat flour and pinch out gooseberry size balls from the dough.
  6. press gently with the palm and place on the baking sheet. Grease them with butter or ghee.
  7. Bake them on a pre heated oven at 425 degrees F for 10 to 12 minutes.

My Tip:

Using a biscuit cutter, different shapes could be made for kids.
