Making kachori a little healthy

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Sooji 1 cup
  2. Water 2 cups
  3. 2 tbsp Milk
  4. Salt
  5. Ajwain
  6. Boiled potato 4
  7. Ginger julienns
  8. Coriander leaver
  9. Green chillies
  10. Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Firstly put water in a wok and let it boil.
  2. Then add sooji, salt and ajwain and stir continuously.
  3. When the sooji turns out to be a soft take it out from the wok.
  4. Let it cool but not completely
  5. For the filling- mash potatoes.
  6. Add salt, coriander leaves, ginger and chillies to it.
  7. Now divide the sooji dough in 12 equal portions.
  8. Flatten one ball and fill the potato filling and close it fron the top and flatten it with your palm.
  9. Follow the same procedure for all the balls.
  10. Now heat oil in a wok and fry the kachories until they turn .
  11. Serve with green mint chutney.
