ABOUT Jack spicy rice RECIPE

Jackfruit is a fruit usually treated as veggie but here I have made a rice, a one pot meal made with this.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Biryani rice medium bowl (pre boiled)
  2. Jackfruit 200gm small pieces (par boiled)
  3. Cumin 1/2 table spoon
  4. Turmeric 1/2 table spoon
  5. Coriander dry 1/2 table spoon
  6. Red chili powder 1/2 table spoon
  7. Garam masala1/2 spoon
  8. Green onion chopped 2
  9. Garlic 4
  10. Ginger 1/2inch chopped
  11. Green coriander finely chopped
  12. Paneer cubes 5
  13. Olive oil 6 table spoon
  14. Cornflour 2 table spoons
  15. Lemon juice 1spoon
  16. Salt as required

Instructions

  1. Take preboiled rice and keep aside. Cut small pieces of jackfruit and boil slightly then add cornflour, salt to it and fry in olive oil.
  2. Heat oil in a kadhai add cumin seed, garlic, ginger, green onions and saute. Add paneer cube and fry.
  3. Then add turmeric, coriander, rectilinear, garam masala1, fried jackfruit pieces, salt and last lemon juice. Garnish with tomato and coriander and serve hot.
