ABOUT Chelo Kebab RECIPE

National dish of Iran,Chelo kebab served with buttery pilaf,kebabs,egg & roasted tomato

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 5 pieces of chicken kebabs
  2. 1 piece galawati kebab
  3. 2 pieces seekh kebab
  4. 1 ROASTED TOMATO
  5. 1 shallot
  6. 1 poached egg
  7. 1 cup basmati rice (soaked in water for 30 mins)
  8. 3 small cubes butter
  9. 4 small cardamoms
  10. 1 tbsp sugar
  11. Salt to taste
  12. Chopped coriander for garnishing

Instructions

  1. Boil the rice in 2 cups of water.
  2. Mix salt to taste and cardamoms when boiling.
  3. Now in a kadhai heat up 1 cube butter.
  4. Pour the boiled rice in kadhai. Add sugar and stir the rice well.
  5. On a plate, set a bed of buttery rice.
  6. Put the poached egg and 2 cubes of butter on rice.
  7. Add roasted tomato,kebabs on plate (See my kebab recipes).
  8. Garnish with chopped coriander and serve.
