It is healthy version of Kulcha's...can be made easily, can be eaten guilt free..

Atta Kulcha

Ingredients to make Atta Kulcha

  • 2 cups -Whole wheat flour
  • 1 cup- Warm Milk
  • 1 tsp- yeast
  • 1 tbls- sugar
  • 1 tbls- oil
  • 1 tsp-salt

How to make Atta Kulcha

  1. Mix yeast, oil, sugar in warm milk, cover it & keep aside for 10 minutes.
  2. In a large bowl take floor, salt & make a dough using the warm milk. Knead for few minutes, apply oil, cover with plastic wrap & keep at warm place for 1 1/2- 2 hours.
  3. The dough should rise till almost double.
  4. Preheat oven to 250°
  5. Make a thick roti and transfer it on greased baking tray and bake it for 7 minutes.
  6. If u also want the burnt marks then cook on a direct flame for few seconds.
  7. Apply Ghee/ Butter and serve immediately with Paneer or Chana Masala.

My Tip:

We can make stuffing Paneer/ potatoes/ peas etc for stuffed kulcha
