About Gulab jamun Recipe

Gulab jamun

Ingredients to make Gulab jamun

  • sugar 500 gms
  • khoya 250 gms
  • baking soda 2 pinch
  • baking powder 1/4 tsp
  • atta 3/4 cup
  • cardamom powder

How to make Gulab jamun

  1. Add 500 gms of sugar in 500 ml of water
  2. Bring it to boil
  3. Add 2 tbsp milk to remove impurities
  4. Remove the impurities
  5. Boil it for 10 mins till sticky
  6. Add cardamom powder
  7. Now take 250 gms of khoya
  8. Add 3/4 cup atta
  9. Add two pinches of baking soda
  10. And 1/4 tsp of baking powder
  11. Add a little water and
  12. Make a smooth dough
  13. Now make small balls
  14. Deep fry the balls
  15. In low flame
  16. Till brown colour
  17. Take it out and put them in sugar syrup
  18. Soak it for 10 mins
  19. Gulab jamun is ready
