Instant dhokla that requires no fermentation

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. For dhokla: 2 cup besan of good quality
  2. 1 cup curd
  3. 1 cup water
  4. 1/2 tsp salt
  5. Pinch of haldi,
  6. 1tsp sugar,
  7. 1/2 tsp green chili
  8. 1/2 tsp ginger
  9. 2 tbsp Oil
  10. Juice of half lemon
  11. One satchet eno
  12. For tadka : 2 tsp oil
  13. 1 tsp white til or sesame seeds
  14. 1 tsp black mustard seeds or sarson
  15. 1/2 tsp green chili
  16. Pinch of salt
  17. 1 tsp sugar
  18. 1 Glass water with one lemon juice
  19. Few curry leaves
  20. For garnish: 1 tsp desicated coconut,
  21. 1 tsp chopped coriander leaves

Instructions

  1. For dhokla mix all ingredients and at last mix eno .
  2. Then pour the batter in greased tin
  3. Put in steamer. Cook for 20 min
  4. Meanwhile prepare tadka: for that heat oil
  5. To it add til,sarson, Kari patta, green chili, salt, sugar and lemon water
  6. Boil it for 2-3 min
  7. Then pour it on dhokla .let it rest for 10 min
  8. Finally garnish with desicated coconut and coriander leaves. Enjoy
