ABOUT Chatpata Hariyali Aloo Paneer RECIPE

Baby potato and paneer cooked and tossed in chatpata hariyali gravy which is made with simple ingredients mint and coriender.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Baby potatoes 100 gm
  2. paneer cubs 100 gm
  3. mint leaves 100 gm
  4. coriander leaves 50 gm
  5. chilli ginger paste 2 tsp
  6. garlic 3 cloves
  7. lemon juice 1 tbs
  8. oil 1 tbs
  9. butter 1 tbs
  10. jeera or cumin seeds 2 tsp
  11. salt
  12. Dhanya jeera powder 2 tsp
  13. malai or cream 2 tbs

Instructions

  1. Remove the skin of baby potatoes.
  2. Heat a pan with 1 tbs butter and 1 tbs oil add 1 tsp cumin seed.
  3. Add baby potatoes and cook until it turns to golden brown and soft. If required add 1/4 cup of water for cooking.
  4. Grind mint leaves, coriander leaves, chilli ginger paste, garlic and lemon juice in a mixture and make chatpata hariyali gravy.
  5. When potatoes cooked well add Paneer and cook for 1 minute. Add salt, Dhanya Jeera powder. Add chatpata hariyali gravy cook for 1 minute.
  6. Add Malai or cream mix well. Serve chatpata hariyali Aloo and Paneer with roti or steamed rice.
