This less spicy ,very less oil dish is easy to make and tastes great with chapathi,parathas or jeers rice.It can be done when there are less veggies at home and can be made in a jiffy too.

Ingredients to make Potato milk kurma

  • potato-3
  • onion-2
  • tomato -1
  • Green peas -1/4 cup
  • Milk -1/2 cup
  • For masala:
  • Grated coconut -1/2 cup
  • saunf-1 teaspoon
  • Green chilli-3
  • Roasted gram -2 table spoon
  • oil - 2 teaspoon
  • Jeera ,mustard seeds - 1/2 teaspoon each
  • coriander leaves-to garnish

How to make Potato milk kurma

  1. Cut the veggies .In a pressure cooker add a teaspoon of oil a d jeera.once it splutters , add all the vegetables and fry for a minute
  2. Along with one cup of water and salt ,cook for 2 whistles
  3. In the meanwhile grind coconut saunf ,green chilli and roasted gram with little water to a fine paste
  4. To the pressure cooked vegetables add the ground paste and boil for few minutes .
  5. Add milk and switch off the flame.

My Tip:

Other vegetables can also be added and done in same manner.
