Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 400 grm normal mutton(lamb)
  2. 2 medium size potato cut in 1/4 pieces
  3. 2 bay leaves,
  4. 1 tsp ginger and garlic
  5. 1 onion medium size cut in jullienes
  6. 2 tsp red chilli
  7. 1 tsp home made garam masala
  8. 1/4 cup whisk curd,salt to taste
  9. oil for cooking,fresh coriander leaves and lemon
  10. 1 strip cinnamon stick
  11. 1 black cardamom
  12. 2-3 cloves
  13. 3-4 whole black pepper
  14. 1 medium onion paste
  15. 1 1/2 tsp coriander
  16. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  17. 1/2 tsp cumin powder

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in pan add all dry masala in it,when start to crack add onion in it,when onion start to colour change add mutton in it .now add salt and turmeric and mix well.
  2. After 2-3 min add ginger garlic and onion paste in it again mix, now add all masala in it except garam masala and curd. when all masala mix add little amount of water and close the lid of cooker and wait for 2-3 whistle or as require.
  3. Notice here that mutton is cook only 75-80% because when cook it with potato and curd it will over cook and pieces will break.
  4. Heat oil in other pan and fry cut potato and potato is also not full cook.When mutton will done as require add curd and mix continuously on gas.Now add fried potato in it and mix carefully otherwise potato pieces will break.
  5. Roast it till oil is float on surface.now add water as require and cover it not close and cook it for 8-10 min.When it done close the stove sprinkle garam masala and coriander leaves and cover it immdiatly to lock the smell and taste of it.
  6. Now it is done,serve it hot with chapatti and rice.
