bambooshoot chicken curry

Ingredients to make bambooshoot chicken curry

  • chicken 500 gms
  • onion 2 medium size
  • ginger garlic paste 2 table spoon
  • tomato puree 1/4 cup
  • bamboo shoot cut into small pieces 1 cup
  • green chilli paste 2 tea spoon
  • salt to taste
  • kashmiri mirch powder 1 teaspoon
  • cumin powder 1 tea spoon
  • coriander powder 1 tea spoon
  • turmeric powder 1 tea spoon
  • garam masala powder 1/2 tea spoon
  • ghee 2 tea spoon
  • chopped coriander 1/4 cup
  • yoghurt 1/4 cup
  • black pepper powder 1 tea spoon
  • Master oil 1/4 cup
  • water as needed

How to make bambooshoot chicken curry

  1. marinate chicken with yoghurt pepper powder for at least 30 min
  2. then put wok in gas n heat oil.Add in chopped onion sauté for a while then add ginger garlic paste n green chilli paste.
  3. Add in tomato purée.Mix well.
  4. Add in salt n other powdered masala then add in chicken pieces.Cook well .
  5. Add in bamboo shoots..then mix all these until oil separates
  6. .Add in little water n cook till chicken tenders.Now Add in ghee n garam masala powder .Garnish with chopped coriander n serve

My Tip:

Make sure bamboo shoots cook well.
