Ingredients Serving: 7

  1. For Jalebi Batter:
  2. half cup all purpose maida/flour
  3. half tsp corn flour
  4. 4 tsp baking soda
  5. mikmaid half cup
  6. 4 tsp vinegar
  7. half tsp curd
  8. 5 tsp water
  9. 2 tsp haldi powder/yellow food colour
  10. For sugar syrup
  11. 1/4 cup water
  12. 1 cup sugar
  13. 1/4 tsp saffron stands
  14. 1/4 tsp Elaichi Powder

Instructions

  1. in a mixing bowl mix maida corn flour curd
  2. then add 1/2 tsp vinegar water
  3. mix well in around the circular directions for 4 mins
  4. now add baking soda n give a gentle mix
  5. now pour this batter in a tomato ketchup bottle carefully
  6. heat oil in a pan
  7. squeeze the bottle n make around spirals with the batter
  8. when one side is partly cooked ,turn over n fry other side
  9. fry till the jalebis turn light golden
  10. then,immediately drop the fried jalebis in a warm sugar syrup for 30 min (1 sting consistency)
