Kerala stew

Ingredients to make Kerala stew

  • onion 2 numbers
  • oil 2 table spoon
  • potato 1 number
  • ginger 1 inch
  • carrot 1 number
  • Beans 4 numbers
  • Green peas 1/4 cup
  • green chillies 6 numbers
  • coconut 1 number
  • coriander leaves chopped 1 table spoon
  • salt
  • curry leaves
  • oil 2 teaspoon
  • mustard seed 1 teaspoon

How to make Kerala stew

  1. In a cooker add oil, onions ginger chopped and green chillies slit and saute for 2 minutes
  2. Add all vegetables and saute for 2 minutes
  3. Take coconut milk
  4. First milk should be thick, then second milk should also be thick. Third milk take in 1cup water
  5. Add the third milk to the vegetables and cook till 3 whistles
  6. When it cooks open cooker and mash potatoes and other vegetables and add second milk and boil
  7. When it thickens add first milk and switch off flame.
  8. Season it with mustard seed and curry leaves
