Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Ing for grinding :
  2. Ginger : 2 inch pc
  3. Dry red chilli : 5-6
  4. Cashewnut / Kaju : 20 pcs
  5. Ing for paneer curry :
  6. Paneer : 250 g (cut into cubes)
  7. Mustard oil : 3-4 tbsp
  8. Cumin seeds / Jeera : 1/2 tsp
  9. Kardi patta : 5-6 leaves
  10. Tomato puree : 1 cup
  11. Salt to taste
  12. Sugar : 1 pinch
  13. Coriander powder to taste
  14. Kasuri methi to taste
  15. Kitchen king masala to taste
  16. Garam masala to taste
  17. Water : 1 cup
  18. coriander leaves a handfull

Instructions

  1. In a mixer jar add ginger, dry red chilli and cashewnuts. Add little water to make a smooth paste. Keep aside till use. In a kardahi / wok add mustard oil. Heat it on high flame. Add jeera & kardi patta. Let it splutter for a min.
  2. Add tomato puree, salt and sugar. Mix well and cook on medium slow flame. Till raw smell of tomatoes are gone. Add cashew ginger paste and 1/2 cup water. Mix well and cook on medium slow flame for 10 min.
  3. Add coriander powder, kasuri methi, kitchen king masala and mix well. Add 1/2 cup water and again cook on high flame stirring continuously till the gravy is little thick.
  4. Add garam masala and mix well. Add paneer cubes and mix well. Cook for 5-10 min. Switch off the flame.
  5. Add coriander leaves and mix well. Transfer to a serving bowl and serve hot with nan or chapati.
