Sago kheer

Ingredients to make Sago kheer

  • Milk 2 cups
  • Milkmaid 1/2 cup
  • Sago /sabudana 1/4 cup
  • raisins 6
  • cashew 5
  • cardamom powder 1/2 tsp
  • almonds 2
  • sugar 5 tsp

How to make Sago kheer

  1. Soak sabudana/Sago for 3-4 hrs.(soaking depends upon your sabudana size)
  2. In pan boil 1/4 cup of water and milk in medium flame.
  3. Now add sago.stir well till sago turns translucent.
  4. Now add milkmaid.stir Well.after 5 min add sugar,cardamom powder,cashew and raisins.
  5. Cook for 15-20 min in low flame.
  6. Stir till milk thickens.and serve it hot.
