Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Rice : 1 cup
  2. Coconut milk : 1 1/2 cups
  3. Thick tamarind extract : 1/2 cup (one big lemon sized)
  4. Cumin powder : 1 teaspoon
  5. Turmeric powder : 1/2 teaspoon
  6. Mustard seeds : 1 teaspoon
  7. Red chillies : 1
  8. Curry leaves : 10
  9. Roasted pea nuts : 1 tablespoon
  10. Oil : 2 tablespoons
  11. Salt : to taste

Instructions

  1. HEAT OIL IN A COOKER ADD MUSTARD,CURRY LEAVES AND DRY RED CHILLI
  2. ADD ROASTED PEANUT
  3. MIX 1/2 CUP OF THICK TAMARIND EXACT WITH 11/2 CUPS OF COCONUT MILK& POUR IT TO THE COOKER & ADD SALT
  4. ADD 1/2 TEASPN OF TURMERIC PWDR, 1 TEASPN OF CUMIN PWDR & RICE. CLOSE THE LID & WAIT FOR 2 WHISTLES
  5. ONCE THE PRESSURE IS RELEASED OPEN THE COOKER AND SERVE HOT. THIS WILL REMAIN GOOD FOR 2-3 DAYS
