  • Sufficient water
  • jaggery 3/4 cup
  • 3/4 cup water for syrup
  • salt a pinch
  • cardamom powder 1 tsp
  • Grated coconut handful
  • raisins few
  • ghee 3 tsp

How to make Whole Wheat Ghee Payasam

  1. CLEANLY WASH, SOAK 4 HRS AND PRESSURE COOK 4 WHISTLES IN HIGH FLAME AND 3 WHISTLES IN LOW FLAME
  2. CHECK THE COOKNESS AND DRAIN THE WATER
  3. PREPARING JAGGERY SYRUP
  4. STRAIN IT
  5. WHEN IT THICKENS ADD COOKED WHEAT
  6. CARDAMOM POWDER AND SALT TO TASTE
  7. ADD RAISINS AND GHEE
  8. WHEN IT STARTS DRIES UP ADD GRATED COCONUT
  9. MIX WELL AND TURN OFF THE FLAME, SERVE IN HOT
