Seekh Kabab

Ingredients to make Seekh Kabab

  • Minced chicken 1/2 kg
  • 100 gms refined oil
  • 1 tbsp sattu or corn flour
  • Whole black pepper 1/2 tsp coarsely grinded
  • Whole coriander seeds 1 /2 tsp coarsely grinded
  • coriander leaves finely chopped a handful
  • green chillies 2 finely chopped
  • red chilli powder 1 /2 tsp
  • cumin Powder 1/2 Tsp
  • Garam masala powder 1/2 tsp
  • salt as per taste

How to make Seekh Kabab

  1. Wash the minced chicken and drain water completely. Add all the ingredients and mix well.
  2. Take lemon size portions and put a wooden skewer over it and give shape as that of seekh kabab.
  3. This will make around 8 to 10 kababs.
  4. Arrange the kababs on the grill tray and grill at 200 degrees for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes turn the sides and grill for another 5 minutes.
  5. You can also grill on tawa in case of inavailability of oven. Arrange the kababs on tawa and grill on slow flame.
  6. Serve hot with coriander chutney and lemon.

My Tip:

You can wet your palms with water while giving shape to the kababs. It eases the process.
