ABOUT Pav bhaji !!! RECIPE

A delicious dish made with a combination of many vegetables and spices

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Onion -4 finely chopped
  2. Tomatoes - 3 finely chopped
  3. Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbspn
  4. Carrots -2
  5. Cabbage - 1/ 4 piece
  6. Potatoes - 5 peeled and cut into cubes
  7. Green peas - 1 /2 cup
  8. Capsicum - 1 medium sized cut fine
  9. Beans - 4 to 5
  10. Butter - 2 tbspn
  11. Salt to taste
  12. Oil - 1 tbspn
  13. Turmeric powder - half tspn
  14. Red chilly powder - 1 tspn (I used both Kashmiri chilly powder and the normal one)
  15. Everest pav bhaji masala powder - 2 tspn (adjust to taste)
  16. Coriander leaves for garnish
  17. water for cooking

Instructions

  1. Take a pressure cooker and put the vegetables except onion tomato and capsicum.... put little salt and turmeric powder....And cook till soft
  2. Then take a potato masher and mash the cooked vegetables
  3. Now heat a kadai put oil and butter...when hot add the chopped onion ...and saute well....
  4. Add ginger garlic paste....Cook till the raw smell goes ....
  5. Now add chopped tomatoes & capsicum.... Cook well till soft....Put salt if required and the dry masalas...
  6. Then add the mashed vegetables....Pour water and bring to required consistency....And cook for a few minutes.... turn off the gas.
  7. Garnish with chopped chori ander leaves and serve hot with buttered pav.... :relaxed:
  8. Ready to serve
