Ingredients to make Matar paneer restaurant style

  • Half kg fresh green peas
  • 250 grams paneer
  • 4 -5 big tomatoes puréed
  • 2-3 medium onions coarsely ground
  • 2 finely chopped chilles
  • One tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 5 cloves
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • Half cup tomato sauce
  • Half tbsp jeera
  • red chilli powder according to taste
  • Half tbsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tbsp coriander powder
  • salt to taste
  • Chopped coriander leaves

How to make Matar paneer restaurant style

  1. Peal the peas and keep aside. Make paste of tomatoes and onion separately and keep aside
  2. Heat oil in kadai and add jeera cloves and bay leaves. Then add onion paste, ginger garlic paste and cook till starts turning brown
  3. Now add powdered masalas, green peas and mix. Then add tomato puree, tomato sauce and cook till oil separates
  4. Add little water to the gravy and cook. Add paneer. Cook few minutes more and then add chopped coriander leaves. Switch off the gas and serve hot with fulkas.
