About SheerKhurma Recipe

Sheerkhurma is a recipe which we prepare on Eid. It is prepared in every muslim family's home. Very delicious and yummy dish. Our Eid is not perfect without this dish.

Ingredients to make SheerKhurma

  • 3 litre full fat milk
  • 50 gram almonds
  • 50 gram cashew
  • 25 gram pistachio
  • 25 gram chironji
  • 25 gram walnuts
  • 25 gram melon seeds
  • 4-5 cardamom crushed
  • 4-5 dry dates
  • 1 can milk maid
  • 50 gram thin roasted vermicelli
  • 1cup sugar
  • 100 gram khoya
  • 1table spoon vanilla essence
  • 50 gram ghee

How to make SheerKhurma

  1. Soak almonds for 3-4 hours and remove the skin, and chopped thinly
  2. Soak the cashew for 3-4 hours and chopped thinly
  3. Soak pistachio remove skin and chopped thinly
  4. Soak dry dates and thinly sliced
  5. Roast chironji and remove the skin
  6. Soak walnuts remove skin and chopped
  7. In a big vessel boil the milk for 15-20 minutes
  8. In a kadai add ghee and fry almonds, cashew, pistachio, walnuts, dry dates, chironji and melon seeds keep aside.
  9. In same kadai add crushed cardamom and roast seviyan and keep aside
  10. When the milk start boiling add sugar and khoya cook till both dissolves
  11. Add milk maid and stir
  12. Now add all the fried dry nuts cook for 2-3 minutes
  13. Finally add seviyan add immediately off the gas.
  14. Finally add vanilla essence.
  15. Because of heat the seviyan will cook.

My Tip:

If you dont want dry dates you can skip adding
