Moong Dal Delight

Ingredients to make Moong Dal Delight

  • Soaked moong dal 1 cup(make paste)
  • Milk 2 tbsps
  • mawa(khoya)1/2 cup
  • Desi ghee 1/2 cup
  • sugar 3 tbsp
  • Milk maid 1/2 cup
  • cardamom powder 1/2 tsp
  • saffron 10-12
  • Yellow colour a pinch
  • Boiled and chopped almonds,pistachio
  • Silver leaves

How to make Moong Dal Delight

  1. Bring a non-stick kadsi,add desi ghee,milk and moong dal paste.mix well.
  2. Keep it asside for 10 minutes.
  3. On the flame,add kadai and keep stiring for 10-15 minutes on medium flame.
  4. When you feel the smell of it or it change golden in colour,add yellow colour,mawa and stir it.
  5. Add condensed milk,sugar and stir it for 1 minute on high flame.
  6. Now add it in serving bowl,garnish with chopped almonds,pistachio,cardamom powder,saffron and silver leave.
  7. Serve hot.
