Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Brinjal
  2. Drumstick - 1
  3. Jaggery - 1 tbs
  4. Toor dal - 1 cup
  5. Urad dal - 1/2 cup
  6. Termaric powder - 1/2tsp
  7. Dry red chilli - 5
  8. Hing
  9. Coriander seeds - 1/2 tbs
  10. Daniya seed - 1/2 tsp
  11. Jeera - 1/2 tsp
  12. Methi seeds - 1/2 tsp
  13. Grated coconut - 1/2 cup
  14. Tamarind small
  15. Mustard seed - 1/2 tsp
  16. Oil
  17. Salt
  18. Water

Instructions

  1. Boil toor dal, brinjal along with jaggery salt and termaric powder
  2. For masala Fry coconut, hing, red chilli, coriander seeds, jeera, meethi seeds, daniya seeds and tamarind and grind it
  3. Now put the masala into boiled ingredients
  4. Add water as you require
  5. Boil
  6. Now in another small pan Put oil, mustard seeds, jeera and Fry little
  7. Add it to boiled sambar
  8. Serve with rice or dosa
