Spicy mushroom gravy that can be eaten just like that

Mushroom gravy

Ingredients to make Mushroom gravy

  • For Marination
  • mushroom 200g
  • ginger garlic paste 1tbsp
  • coriander powder 1tbsp
  • chilli POWDER 1TBSP
  • salt to taste
  • Plain flour 3 Tbsp
  • corn STARCH 1 TBSP
  • water 3 Cups
  • onion 1 chopped
  • ginger garlic chopped 2Tbsp
  • cumin powder 1 tbsp
  • coriander powder 1 tbsp
  • chilli powder 1 tbsp
  • Garam masala 1/2 tbsp
  • salt to taste
  • For topping
  • onion 1 finely chopped
  • carrot 1 grated
  • coriander a handful finely chopped

How to make Mushroom gravy

  1. Wash the mushroom thoroughly and cut in to pieces
  2. Add all the spices mention under the marination and give a mix And let rest it in the kitchen counter for half an hour
  3. After half an hour , fry the mushrooms till they turn crispy and keep it aside
  4. Now heat a skillet and add a spoon of oil and sauté the onions , ginger , garlic
  5. Add the 3 cups of water and add in all spices and salt
  6. let the water boil until it is reduced to half of it
  7. Now add the fried mushrooms to the boiling stock and wait until the remaining water is absorbed by the mushroom
  8. Give it a quick mix and serve by topping it with finely chopped Onion , carrot and coriander
  9. PS: I haven’t added carrot to my recipe as I was not having it , Pls add it to your dish when you try it will taste yumm
