ABOUT Fresh Turmeric and Ginger Pickle RECIPE

Fresh turmeric and ginger along with pickle spices and lemon juice.

Ingredients Serving: 0

  1. 100 gms- fresh turmeric
  2. 50 gms - ginger
  3. 2 tsp - mustard powder
  4. 2 tsp -fenugreek powder
  5. 3/4 cup -lemon juice
  6. 1 and 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  7. 1 cup - oil
  8. 2 tsp - salt

Instructions

  1. Heat oil to a smoking point and allow it to cool down to room temperature.
  2. Wash and pat dry the turmeric and ginger with a kitchen towel or place it in the sun for a while to dry. Then grate them well, but not too finely.
  3. To a clean and dry bowl add all the ingredients. Mix it well and transfer to a sterilized jar.
  4. Your fresh turmeric and ginger pickle is ready. It tastes best when eaten on the second day.
