ABOUT Hummus RECIPE

Hummus is a middle eastern dip made from chickpeas and it is generally served with falafel.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 1 and 1/2 cup boiled chickpeas
  2. 1 big sized lemon
  3. 3 cloves of garlic
  4. 1/4 cup olive oil + for drizzling
  5. 1/4 cup tahina
  6. Few olives to garnish
  7. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Chop the garlic and squeeze juice out of the lemon.
  2. In a blender, add the chickpeas, garlic and blend it coarsely.
  3. Now add the tahina with half the oil and continue blending it.
  4. Give a stir and add the remaining oil along with salt and lemon juice. Blend it till its smooth.
  5. Garnish with olives then drizzle with some generous olive oil and serve with any bread of your choice.
