ABOUT Instant Dosa RECIPE

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Sooji (Semolina) 1 cup
  2. Maida - 1 cup
  3. Curd - 1 cup
  4. Water as required
  5. Salt to taste
  6. Dried and crushed curry leaves
  7. Baking soda - a pinch
  8. Oil to make the dosas

Instructions

  1. Mix the sooji, maida, crushed curry leaves and salt together. Add curd and mix well.
  2. Now add water as required to make a smooth dosa batter. (Note: Do not make a very thin batter)
  3. Now add the baking soda and mix the batter again. (Note: add baking soda just before making the dosas)
  4. In a non-stick pan, take a ladle full of batter and make round thin dosas by circular movement of your hand. Drizzle a tea spoon of oil on sides of the dosa.
  5. Cook the dosa on a medium flame and then high flame. Allow it to be golden brown and crispy.
  6. Serve the dosa immediately with any chutney.
