Black Grapes Jam

Ingredients to make Black Grapes Jam

  • 1 kg Seedless Black grapes
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 and 1/2 cups sugar
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice

How to make Black Grapes Jam

  1. Separate the grapes from stems and wash them really well.
  2. Put them in pressure cooker with water and cook till one whistle blows on a high heat. Turn off the gas. Wait for 5 minutes and open the lid.
  3. Cook the grapes on a high heat while stirring occasionally till its slightly thick and pulpy.
  4. Add the sugar and cook on a high heat for 12-15 minutes. After this time period, turn off the gas.
  5. Once its slightly cool add the lemon juice.
  6. Pour in clean and sterilised jars.

My Tip:

Do not cook for longer than 12-15 minutes as the grapes tend to burn.
