Drumsticks curry is very tasty recipe and also good for health . You can serve this as a main dish .

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 4 Drumsticks
  2. Crushed mustard seeds 1 tsp
  3. onion paste 4 tbsp
  4. Tomato paste 1/2 cup { 3 tomatoes}
  5. ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  6. 2 Green chillies
  7. cumin 1 tsp
  8. Red chilli powder 1 tsp
  9. coriander powder 1 tsp
  10. turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  11. salt 1 tsp or as per your taste
  12. Garam masala 1/4 tsp
  13. coriander leaves
  14. mustard oil or Refined oil - 4 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Firstly cut the top and bottom part of the drumsticks and slightly peel the remaining drumsticks and then cut it into 4 pieces . Prepare all the drumsticks by using the same method and wash them properly
  2. Now add oil in a wok and let it heat.
  3. When oil is hot then add crushed mustard seeds in it and let it crackle when it is crackled properly then add green chillies and onion paste and saute them on medium flame until onion become light brown in colour
  4. When onion turns into brown colour then add ginger paste and saure it for 1 minute on medium flame .
  5. Now add tomato paste, red chilli powder, turmeric powder , coriander powder , salt and mix them well .Now add a little water, turn the flame low and cover the wok with a lid and let it cook on low flame for 5 minutes or until oil starts floating on the masala
  6. Now check the masala . When it is cooked then add drumsticks in it . Mix it well with masala and cook it for 2 minutes on low flame . Add little water if neccesary
  7. After 2 minutes , add 3 -4 cup of water in it mix it and turn the flame to medium and cook it on medium flame for 15 minutes .
  8. After 15 minutes , add garam masala , coriander leaves in it and mix it well now turn off the flame and serve it hot with chapati , parathas and enjoy :blush:
