ABOUT Catori Chaat RECIPE

This is a yummy chat in the shape of bowls or katoris, a perfect snack for all times.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. For the katoris :
  2. Maida - 1 cup
  3. salt
  4. Refined oil
  5. Other ingredients :
  6. Boiled white peas - 1 cup
  7. Boiled potatoes - 1/4 th cup
  8. Curd - 1/4 th cup
  9. salt
  10. sugar
  11. Tamarind chutney - 2 tbsp
  12. Green chutney - 2 tsp
  13. Chopped onion - 1
  14. Chopped tomatoes - 1
  15. Coriander leaves [handful]
  16. sev [as required]

Instructions

  1. Knead the madia, salt, refined oil and water to form a hard dough. rest it for 10 minutes, Now roll the dough into rotis to form teh katoris.
  2. Deep fry these katoris in oil, on a low flame until golden in color, strain and keep aside. Let them cool for sometime.
  3. Whisk the curd with salt and sugar to form the mix. Now take a katori, put some boiled peas and potatoes.
  4. Then pour the curd mix over it, top with tamarind chutney, green chutney, chopped onion, tomatoes, sev and serve.
