About Momos Recipe

A simple and delicious dish, steamed dumplings filled with veggies. A perfect snack for all times.

Momos

Ingredients to make Momos

  • Refined flour 2 cups
  • baking soda 1/2 tsp
  • salt 1 tsp
  • oil. 2 tbsp
  • carrot,shredded 2 tbsp
  • cabbage, shredded 3 tbsp
  • French beans 2 tbsp
  • capsicum, Finely chopped 1 tbsp
  • Black pepper 1/2 tsp
  • ginger, grated 1 tbsp
  • coriander leaves 1 tbsp
  • Soy sauce 1 tsp

How to make Momos

  1. In a bowl, add refined flour, baking soda, salt 1/2 tsp,oil 1 tbsp and kneed a dough with water as required and keep aside.
  2. Heat a oil 1 tsp in a pan,add carrot,French beans, cabbage, capsicum and cook for 4 -5 min
  3. Add salt 1/2 tsp, black pepper,ginger,coriander leaves, soy sauce and cook for 5-8 min and keep aside the filling
  4. Divide a dough in equal portions and fill the filling inside and make a shape of momos .
  5. Boil water 2 cups in a pan and put the pan size strainer and place the momos in it and cover with lid.
  6. Steam for 15-20 min in low flame.
  7. Serve in a platter.
