ABOUT Two types of danamethi vegetable RECIPE

My grandmaa made these vegetables very tasty.hope i also made tasty.as we don't use onion,garlic those days she don't use them but believe me then also both of these vegetables are equally tasty.one is sweet and another is papad danamethi.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1/2 cup dana methi
  2. For sweet danamethi---
  3. 1/2 of dana methi we had taken
  4. 1 tbsp oil
  5. 1 tsp jeera
  6. Pinch of hing
  7. 1 tbsp kishmis
  8. Salt as per taste
  9. 1 tsp red chilli powder
  10. 1/2 tsp haldi
  11. 2 tsp coriander powder
  12. 1 tsp amchur powder
  13. 1 tbsp sugar
  14. For papad danamethi---
  15. 1 papad
  16. Remaining danamethi
  17. 1 tbsp oil
  18. 1 tsp jeera
  19. Salt as per taste
  20. 1 tsp red chilli powder
  21. 1/4 tsp haldi
  22. 2 tsp coriander powder

Instructions

  1. TAKE AND SOAK DANAMETHI
  2. ADD IT IN COOKER WITH DOUBLE WATER AND GIVE 2 WHISTLE
  3. WHEN IT IT DONE REMOVE OT'S WATER AND SIEVE IT
  4. WASH UNDER WATER IN SIEVE FOR REMIVING IT'S BITTERNESS IT WILL NOT REMOVE TOTALLY BUT DECREASE
  5. NOW FIRST WE MAKE PAPAD DANAMETHI
  6. HEAT OIL ADD JEERA
  7. TAKE 1 TBSP WATER AND ADD ALL SPICES MAKE A PASTE
  8. WHEN JEERA SPLITTER ADD THIS PASTE IN PAN
  9. AND SAUTE
  10. THEN ADD 1/2 CUP OF WATER AND ADD DANAMETHI
  11. AND ADD PIECES OF PAPAD AND COOK OUR VEGETABLE IS READY
  12. NOW WE WILL MAKE OUR SWEET DANAMETHI
  13. HEAT OIL AND ADD JEERA
  14. AND HING
  15. THEN ADD ALL SPICES EXCEPT AMCHUR AND SAUTE
  16. ADD 1/2 CUP OF WATER SND KISHMIS AND DANAMETHI
  17. ADD 1/2 CUP OF WATER
  18. AND LET IT COOK TILL THICK AND LEAVE OIL
  19. THEN ADD SUGAR
  20. AND COOK TILL SUGAR MELT ADD AMCHUR POWDER
  21. AND COOK
  22. OUR VEGETABLE IS READY
  23. OUR BOTH VEGETABLES ARE READY
