About Drumstick curry Recipe

It is one of the easiest and simplest curry.it is also known as saijan ki phalli.

Drumstick curry

Ingredients to make Drumstick curry

  • Drumsticks 250 g
  • chana flour or besan 1/2 cup
  • onion 1
  • tomato 1
  • garlic cloves 5-6
  • salt to taste
  • turmeric powder 1 teaspoon
  • red chilli powder 1 tablespoon
  • coriander powder 1 teaspoon
  • cumin powder 1 teaspoon
  • Garam masala 1 teaspoon
  • oil 4-5 teaspoon
  • mustard seeds 1 teaspoon
  • Asofotieda (hing ) 1 pinch

How to make Drumstick curry

  1. Wash and cut drumsticks into 2-3 inches long
  2. Boil drumsticks into pressure cooker till 2 whistles.
  3. Grind onion, tomato and garlic cloves in mixture grinder and make paste.
  4. In a pan heat oil and add mustard seeds.
  5. When it crackles add asofotieda
  6. Now add onion-tomato-garlic paste and saute till oil seperates.
  7. Add chana flour or besan and roast for 1-2 minutes.
  8. Add approximate 1 glass of water slowly and stir continuously with other hand.
  9. Take care of lumps should not be form
  10. Add salt, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder and garam masala. Mix well
  11. Stir occasionally and cook till curry becomes thick or cook till get desire consistency.
  12. Add boiled drumsticks and enjoy with phulka bhakhri or plain rice
