ABOUT Carrot Sambar RECIPE

A delicious recipe of sambhar, this is my grand ma's recipe, which goes very well with some steamed rice.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Carrot chopped 1 cup
  2. Grated coconut 1 1/2 cup
  3. Sambar powder 1 tsp
  4. Tamarind 1/2 gooseberry sized
  5. Salt to taste
  6. Water

Instructions

  1. COVER AND COOK PEELED, CHOPPED CARROT BY ADDING SALT TO TASTE
  2. GRATED COCONUT, GRIND COARSELY BY ADDING WATER AND TAMARIND
  3. ADD SAMBAR POWDER AND CONTINUE GRINDING
  4. POUR THE MASALA INTO COOKED CARROT
  5. LET IT BOIL, TURN OFF THE FLAME AND SERVE
