This is a Hyderabadi delight, a delicious recipe of stuffed chillies, in a spicy gravy.

Ingredients to make Bharwan hari mirch ka salan

  • 6 to 7 big thick green chillies slit
  • For stuffing
  • 2 potatoes boiled and mashed
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1/2 tsp amchur
  • 2 green chillies chopped
  • coriander leaves
  • For gravy
  • 1/2 cup ground nut
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 5 to 6 cloves garlic
  • 1 inch ginger
  • 1 tbsp coriander seed
  • 1 clove
  • 2 to 4 pepper corn
  • 2 dried red chilli
  • salt
  • turmeric powder 1 tsp
  • Garam masala powder 1 tsp

How to make Bharwan hari mirch ka salan

  1. Heat oil in pan.. add cumin and add mashed potatoes and stuffing ingredients. Mix well. Keep aside
  2. Stuff in slit chillies. Keep aside
  3. Heat oil. Shallow fry the stuffed chilles..keep aside.
  4. In a pan heat oil. Add curry leaves, mustard seeds, and hing.
  5. Grind all ingredient for gravy adding little water
  6. Add onion. Fry well. Add the peanut and sesame paste. Fry well till oil separates
  7. Add turmeric and garam masala
  8. Add little water. Cook well
  9. Add in the fried stuffed chillies.
  10. Cook well. Add coriander leaves.
  11. Mix well. Serve hot
