Ingredients to make Puran boli

  • chana dal 1 cup
  • coconut 1/4 cup
  • jaggery grated 1/2 cup
  • cardamom powder 1 teaspoon
  • maida 1 cup
  • salt a pinch
  • water 4 table spoon
  • ghee 5 table spoon

How to make Puran boli

  1. PRESSURE COOK CHANA DAL FOR 1 WHISTLE AFTER SOAKING IT FOR 20 MINUTES
  2. DRAIN EXCESS WATER
  3. IT SHOULD NOT OVER COOK
  4. GRIND COARSELY
  5. MAKE JAGGERY SYRUP IN THIS CONSISTENCY
  6. IN THE JAGGERY SYRUP ADD COCONUT AND GROUND DAL
  7. MIX WELL AND COOK TILL THIS CONSISTENCY
  8. PUT STUFFING IN IT AND MAKE A BALL
  9. ROLL IT AGAIN TO PURI
  10. COK IN A TAWA. SPREAD GHEE ON IT. SERVE HOT
