About Panner butter masala Recipe

One of my favorite side dish, to be served with some naan on the side.

Panner butter masala

Ingredients to make Panner butter masala

  • Panner 100 gms
  • onion 1 big size
  • tomato 1 medium
  • butter 4 tbsp
  • ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Clove, cinnamon & cardamon 2 each
  • green chilly 2
  • malai 2 tbsp
  • jeera 1tsp
  • turmeric 1/2 tsp
  • chilly powder 1/2 tbsp
  • coriander powder 1/2 tbsp
  • methi leaves 1tsp
  • oil 2tbsp
  • sugar 1tsp
  • salt to taste

How to make Panner butter masala

  1. In a pan add oil. Add cinnamon cloves cardamom. Add in sliced onion green chilly. Fry the onion in oil till u get aroma.
  2. Add in jeera turmeric chilly powder coriander powder and ginger garlic paste to onion.
  3. In a mixer add in onion mixture, blanched tomato & malai and grind it to fine paste. Can add little water.
  4. In a pan add in the butter. Add dry methi and add in the masala to the butter. Add water to make gravy.
  5. Add panner to the boiling masala. Add salt and sugar to taste. Cook till the butter ooze out the masala.
  6. Ready to serve.

My Tip:

Can add cashwe for rich taste.
