Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. All purpose flour-1 bowl
  2. ghee -1/2 cup
  3. ghee - for fry -1 and 1/2 kg
  4. Baking powder-1 tsp
  5. sugar -150 grams
  6. lemon -1
  7. Cardamom-1 crushed
  8. Milk -1 cup
  9. Almond-2-3 chopped
  10. Pistachio-1 tsp chopped
  11. Ice cube -5-6
  12. Cold water-1 cup
  13. salt - a pinch


  1. First we prepare batter of Ghever . Take some pieces off ice cube add 1/2 cup ghee . Mix it with hand until it comes smooth bubble. When ghee becomes smooth, then remove the ice cube and add milk in ghee . Mix well.
  2. Now add baking powder in all purpose flour and strained it . Mix all purpose flour in ghee and milk mixture slowly . If needed, add water to make a flowing consultancy.
  3. Add a pinch of salt and half lemon juice. Mixed well. Our batter is ready. Now heat a thick bottomed cooker of five litter. Add 1 and 1/2 litre ghee . Heat ghee in medium high flame .When ghee is hot enough, add one big spoon batter with long flow .
  4. When bubbles die down make hole in middle with spoon. Now again add one ladder batter in middle of gheber. In this way add batter 7-8 times. then add some batter sides of gheber .cook it now for 15 minutes in medium low flame. Push gheber in bottom of cooker by ladle .
  5. When all sides cooked put it out from cooker .gheber is ready .Now we prepare sugar syrup . take a pan add sugar and 100ml water . Cook until it boiled. Add 2 tsp milk and half lemon .
  6. All the dirt comes top of sugar syrup .put it out with ladrle. Now add cardamom crushed.
