Kewati dal

Ingredients to make Kewati dal

  • Toor dal 1/2 cup
  • Masoor dal 1/4 cup
  • Urad dal 1/4 cup
  • Moong dal 1/4 cup
  • salt to taste
  • water
  • For Tadka
  • ghee 1 tbsp
  • ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • onion finely chopped 1 medium
  • tomato finely chopped 1 medium
  • green chilly 5 to 6 whole
  • For garnishing
  • coriander leaves

How to make Kewati dal

  1. Soak all dals for 2 hours and cook with sufficient water and salt.( seperetely)
  2. In a pan heat ghee ad onion and cook for a minute.
  3. Ad ginger garlic paste and whole green chillies, cook for few seconds.
  4. Now ad tomato and little water till raw smell goes out.
  5. Now ad all dals and salt with 1/4cup water.
  6. Cook for few minutes.
  7. Garnish with coriander leaves.
