ABOUT Rajma masala curry RECIPE

In this recipe I have used Red Rajma Beans which is popularly know as Kidney Bean.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Rajma boiled : 2 cups
  2. Oil : 3-4 tbsp
  3. Cumin seeds : 1 tsp
  4. Dry red chilli : 1
  5. Curry leaves : 1 tbsp
  6. Ginger garlic paste : 2 tsp
  7. Green chilli : 1
  8. Onion chopped : 1
  9. Tomato puree : 1 cup
  10. Salt to taste
  11. Red chilli paste to taste
  12. Coriander powder to taste
  13. Kasuri methi to taste
  14. Kitchen king masala to taste
  15. Rajma masala to taste
  16. Garam masala to taste
  17. Coriander leaves : 1/2 cup


  1. Heat oil in a wok. Add cumin seed, dry red chilli and curry leaves. Let it splutter for a min.
  2. Add ginger garlic paste, green chilli and onion. Fry for few mins. Add tomato puree and cook till the raw smell of tomatoes are gone.
  3. Add salt, red chilli powder, coriander powder, kasuri methi, kitchen king masala and rajma masala. Mix well.
  4. Add rajma and mix well. Boil it on high and then cook on slow for 10-15 min. Sprinkle garam masala on it. Add coriander leaves and mix. Serve hot.
