Restaurant style Paneer korma, to be served with some naan or paratha.

Paneer korma

Ingredients to make Paneer korma

  • paneer - 250 gm(cut in cubes)
  • paneer - 1 tbsp(grated)
  • onion - 1(chopped)
  • garlic paste - 1/2 tbsp
  • ginger paste - 1 tsp
  • cumin powder - 1/2 tsp
  • turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  • red chilli powder - 1 tsp
  • Garam masala powder - 1/2 tsp
  • coriander powder - 1/2 tsp
  • curd - 1 tbsp
  • tomato - 1
  • cashew paste - 1 tbsp
  • salt - As required
  • oil - 4 tbsp
  • Fresh cream - 1/2 tbsp

How to make Paneer korma

  1. Fry paneer pieces in oil till golden brown in colour.
  2. Remove from oil and keep aside.
  3. Heat oil in another pan.
  4. Put chopped onion and fry till pink in colour.
  5. Add garlic paste and ginger paste,
  6. Add cumin powder, turmeric powder, chilli powder, garam masala powder, dhaniya powder and mix well.
  7. Add 1 chopped tomato.
  8. Add cashew paste and yogurt.
  9. Cook till oil starts separate.
  10. Add some water and fried paneer pieces.
  11. Cook on medium flame for 3 to 4 minutes.
  12. Add grated paneer and fresh cream.
  13. After switching off the gas garnish with grated paneer and coriander leaves(optional).
  14. Serve hot with naan or pulav.
