About Khumb Hara Dhania Recipe

Khumb Hara Dhania, a mushroom masala curry that goes very well with just some hot roti on the side.

Khumb Hara Dhania

Ingredients to make Khumb Hara Dhania

  • mushrooms (fresh) – 600 gm,
  • water
  • salt – to taste
  • Cashewsnut paste – 1 1/2 Tbs
  • yogurt 1 1/2 cup
  • Red Chili Powder – 1 tsp
  • coriander Powder – 1/2 tsp
  • garlic paste – 4 tsp
  • Green Chilies – 4 (chopped)
  • ginger – Julienne for garnishing
  • bay leaf – 1
  • mace – 1 pinch
  • onion – 1 cup ( boil onion gravy)
  • ginger paste - 4 tsp
  • ghee / Oil – 2Tbs.,
  • Fresh coriander – 1 cup (chopped)
  • Whole Garam Masala: Black cardamom – 1
  • Green cardamom – 5
  • cloves – 5
  • cinnamon – 1 inch

How to make Khumb Hara Dhania

  1. Blanch button mushroom for 2 minutes
  2. Heat oil / ghee in kadai, add garam masala
  3. Add onion paste and saute for 2 minutes, add ginger garlic paste and turn, add chop green chilli and turn
  4. Add chili powder and coriander powder and turn for few minutes.
  5. Switch off the flame and add yogurt and salt and mix
  6. Take return pan on heat and add 4 cups of water and wait for boiling stage, add cashew nut paste and turn for 2 minutes
  7. after adding mushroom and 3/4 cup coriander leaves and wait for 2 minutes
  8. Garnish with coriander leaves and Ginger Julienne
