About Khandhodi curry Recipe

This is one of the delicious recipe by my grand ma, a yummy and spicy curry to be served with some pulao on the side.

Khandhodi curry

Ingredients to make Khandhodi curry

  • Half cup sesame seeds
  • Half cup coconut powder
  • Half cup khus khus
  • One spoon jeera
  • Two teaspoons ginger garlic paste
  • One tsp chilli powder
  • One tsp haldi powder
  • One tsp garam masala
  • One tsp dhania powder
  • salt
  • One cup finely chopped mint leaves
  • One cup finely chopped coriander leaves
  • One tsp lemon juice
  • Two cups of gram flour
  • oil
  • water
  • Finely chopped onion

How to make Khandhodi curry

  1. Firstly,take a bowl..add roasted coconut powder, khus khus,sesame spn chilli powder,haldi,garam masala,mint leaves,coriander leaves,salt,lemon,Jeera n one spoon oil,ginger garlic paste
  2. In another bowl..take two cups of gram flour,salt,one tsp oil, little haldi ..mix properly n then tie the dough using water... Rest for half hr
  3. Now roll into chapati
  4. Spread the dry mixture on the chapati
  5. Roll it slowly n fold the corners..
  6. Tight the edges properly
  7. Steam it for fifteen min
  8. Once done...let it dry n then cut it into pieces..
  9. Heat one kadai..add two spoons of oil
  10. Add Jeera n chopped onion n saute till red..add haldi,garam masala,ginger garlic paste,red chilli powder,
  11. After five min ..add water n boil for five min..finally add cut dumplings n let it cook for ten min...ready to serve..

My Tip:

U can even fry the dumplings n have it...
