One of my favourite payasam. Easy and simple to make. Homemade Ada makes this payasam taste heavenly. One of the popular Kheer from Kerala

Ingredients to make Paladda

  • 50 gms Ada ( homemade or store-bought)
  • 750 ml milk
  • 1/2 cup or more sugar (adjust)
  • 1/4 tsp ground cardamom
  • 2 tbsp cashews
  • 1 tsp ghee

How to make Paladda

  1. INGREDIENTS
  2. BOIL MILK
  3. ON BOILING, ADD ADA AND SUGAR
  4. STIR WELL, REDUCE HEAT TO ALLOW MILK TO THICKEN AND REDUCE
  5. STIR OCCASIONALLY IN BETWEEN. IT WILL TAKE 40-45 MINUTES
  6. ONCE COOKED, PALADDA WILL GET LIGHT ROSE COLOUR
  7. FRY CASHEWS IN GHEE
  8. ADD CARDAMOM AND CASHEWS TO MILK. STIR WELL. SWITCH OFF
  9. SERVE WARM
