ABOUT Navratan Korma RECIPE

Mix veggies cooked with dry fruits and paneer in rich gravy.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Paneer - 100 gm(cut in cubes)
  2. Tomato - 3
  3. Beans - 1/3 cup(diced)
  4. Cauliflower - 1/3 cup(diced)
  5. Carrot - 1/4 cup(diced)
  6. Capsicum - 1/3 cup(diced)
  7. Potato - 1/3 cup(diced)
  8. Peas - 1/2 cup
  9. Cashews - 2 tbsp
  10. Onion - 2(grated)
  11. Garlic paste - 1/2 tbsp
  12. Ginger paste - 1/2 tbsp
  13. Cashews+almond paste - 1 tbsp
  14. Milk - 1 cup
  15. Fresh cream - 2 tbsp
  16. Ghee - 6 tbsp
  17. Salt - As required
  18. Grated paneer - 1 tbsp
  19. Turmeric powder. - 1 tsp
  20. Garam masala powder - 1 and 1/2 tsp
  21. Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
  22. Coriander powder. - 1 tsp
  23. Coriander leaves - 1 tbsp(chopped)

Instructions

  1. Deep fry paneer pieces in ghee and keep aside.
  2. Boil tomatoes and let it cool.
  3. Remove skin of tomatoes and mash them.
  4. Cook Cauliflower, Beans, Carrot, Capsicums, Potatoes and Peas with salt, water and 1/2 tsp turmeric in a pan on low flame for 10 minutes.
  5. Fry Cashews and keep aside.
  6. Heat ghee in another pan.
  7. Put grated onions and fry.
  8. Add ginger+garlic paste and cook on high flame till raw smells gone and ghee starts separate.
  9. Add chilli powder, Dhaniya powder, remaining turmeric powder, salt and garam masala powder.
  10. Add mashed tomatoes and saute.
  11. Add cashews+almond paste.
  12. Add cooked veggies and bring it to boil.
  13. When gravy starts thickening add milk and fresh cream.
  14. Before switching off the gas add fried paneer pieces and some grated paneer.
  15. Before serving add fried cashews.
  16. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves, grated paneer and cream.
  17. Serve hot with rice or parathas.
