This is a quick and healthy recipe, made with bottle gourd.

Bottle gourd gravy

Ingredients to make Bottle gourd gravy

  • Chopped bottle gourd : 1 cup
  • onion : 1
  • tomato : 1
  • ginger garlic paste : 1 tsp
  • salt
  • oil
  • cloves : 2
  • cardamom : 1
  • cinnamon : 1
  • fennel seeds : 1/2 tsp
  • chilli powder : 1 tsp
  • Garam masala : 1/2 tsp
  • coconut paste : 3 tsp
  • coriander leaves

How to make Bottle gourd gravy

  1. Heat oil in a pressure cooker add fennel seeds, cloves, cardamom, cinnamon, onion and saute it
  2. Add tomato salt and saute for 1 min
  3. Add chilli powder, garam masala and saute for 30 sec
  4. Add chopped bottle gourd, required water and cover it
  5. Cook for 8 - 10 min on medium flame
  6. Then add coconut paste, coriander leaves and cook for 2 mins
