About Lasuni matar aalu Recipe

This gravy is little spicy whenever u run out of idea what to make try this gravy ro get appreciations.This gravy is different than other gravies and tastes awsome.

Lasuni matar aalu

Ingredients to make Lasuni matar aalu

  • garlic 8 to 10
  • coriander leaves 100 gms
  • green chillies 4 to 5
  • tomatoes 4 medium size
  • salt to taste.
  • 2 tsps red chilli pwd
  • 2 tsps coriander pwd
  • 2 tsps turmeric pwd (haldi)
  • oil 2 to 3 tbsps
  • peas 100 gms
  • potato 1 big

How to make Lasuni matar aalu

  1. Grind garlic, green chillies, coriander leaves coarsely. (green masala is ready)
  2. Grind tomatoes to paste.
  3. In pressure cooker heat oil.
  4. Add green masala.
  5. Saute for a while then add salt,red chilli pwd, coriander pwd, haldi.
  6. Add tomato paste.
  7. Add matar (peas)
  8. Add chopped potatoes
  9. Cook on high flame till all gravy stands on oil.
  10. Add water as required to adjust consistency of gravy .(I added half glass)
  11. pressure cook for 1 whistle and slower the flame for few mins and switch off gas.
  12. When pressure is released serve hot with chapati or rice.

My Tip:

The spicyness of gravy can be done according to the taste by quantity of green chillies.
