About Mushroom masala Recipe

Mushroom is high in antioxidants, fiber, iron, Potassium Vitamin C etc. It is low in carbohydrates and high in fiber.This curry made with simple ingredients available at home..it is a quick and easy recipe. it is served with roti or rice.

Mushroom masala

Ingredients to make Mushroom masala

  • mushrooms cut into 4 pieces - 9 to 10
  • tomato (grated)  - 3
  • onions( cut into slice) - 2
  • ginger (grated) - 3 "
  • garlic paste - 2 tablespoons
  • Green chilies (finely chopped ) - 2
  • oil - 1 1/2 tablespoon
  • salt to taste
  • Kashmiri Chili Powder - 1/2 Teaspoon
  • coriander Powder - 2 Teaspoons
  • turmeric powder - 1/4 Teaspoon
  • Red chili powder - 1/2 Teaspoon
  • water - 1 cup
  • Tandoori kadhai masala - 2 Teaspoons
  • Green coriander (chopped)

How to make Mushroom masala

  1.  Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, then saute the cumin.
  2.  Add ginger garlic paste and saute for 1/2 minute.
  3. Keep on high flame
  4. Add onion and saute for 1 minute.
  5. Add tomato and mushroom, saute for 1 minute.
  6. Now, add all the dry spices except Tandoori kadhai masala and stir and add one tablespoon of water.
  7. saute for 2 minutes and stir again then add 1 cup water.
  8. Now cover and cook till the vegetable leaves oil on medium flame (4 to 5 minutes in this process).
  9. Add tandoori kadhai masala and stir and cover.
  10. Mushroom masala will be ready to eat after 15 minutes.
  11. Decorate with green coriander.

My Tip:

Add spices according to taste.
